I support Howard.
I respect his knowledge and his work and his products.

All I'm saying is I wish the process of buying them was easier.
My dream. Go to a web site of his, answer 20 questions if necessary and 2 weeks later my shocks arrive.

Nothing fancy.

LOL. When you dream, dream BIG! I have heard from another forum member here that navigating his website is like dancing with spiders.

I believe Howard is in regular attendance at Daytona and will have his new trailer with him so he can build, test and set up shocks on the spot. You should email and ask.

Is this true and Howard changes the valving in the shocks? I only thought he installed a different spring based upon your weight. I know at the various events I've been to where Ohlins had a booth, they would do the same thing, install their shocks for you with the appropriate spring.

This year, he is scheduled to be at the Speedway - just south of the turn 4 tunnel - space 16 I believe.

Wow!

I'm currently researching shocks for my ride and stumbled upon this, you guys paint an interesting picture.

I look forward to my "Howard experience" however that may go.

Perhaps our experiences with others tells us more about ourselves, as apposed to that individual.

I am likely in the minority here, but if Howard were the last guy on the planet selling shocks for Harley's, I'd quit riding or choose another motorcycle. Says a lot about me.....you're right! Says to me that I have a standard on how I am and am not willing to be spoken to as a potential customer, and am not willing to compromise on those standards. Says to me that I have personal integrity, and how anyone else interprets my position is of absolutely no business of mine.

I chose not to buy based on my initial experience, and remain very comfortable with my decision. Howard could learn a lot by hanging out for a week with the guys at Fuel Moto; listening to how they relate on the phone in particular! Hoping that your experience is more pleasant than mine was.

I bought a set of 3-3s from howard when I had my streetglide. I guess I am in the minority but Howard and I had several good conversations. We talked about Daytona and even a bit about my TZ250 that I raced at one time. I enjoyed talking with him. I had spent significant time reading his and other sites on how shocks worked. His customer service was amazing. I knew where my purchase was every step of the way. My order was delivered the same week. He walked me through the installation. 1000 miles later he helped me fine tune the shocks on a Sunday! I had a couple of things turned around in my head and he didn't belittle me or talk down to me he just walked me through what I needed to do. He didn't kiss my *** but I didn't expect that. Overall it was an excellent purchase with excellent service.
