I'm glad you're here writing about it, though.
Idiot drivers cross our paths all the time. Four states away, or a half-mile from home, it doesn't matter, it can happen anytime. Last night, riding home from work at about 10 pm, a pickup made a left turn from a side street into my lane of traffic RIGHT in front of me. Full panic stop, I did get off a horn blast, but there was no chance to give a single-digit biker wave. The thing was, it was dark, and the pickup was black, and it pretty much disappeared when it pulled out, which made it even worse. It was close enough that one of my co-workers, following behind me, was telling the story at work today of how I almost bit it riding home last night. Funny thing, though, by today, I'd already forgotten the whole thing until a different co-worker asked me about it.

Geez buddy I was just kidding. And just because someone has a gun doesnt mean they are brave enough to use it. I'm glad he had a way out of that situation.
