If in fact you did forget a zero. Go out and buy a new Glide. For touring you would never regret it.

I just sold my Goldwing for $2K...of course it is a '78 model but it still gets around fine. I also think he left off a Zero too.

Sit on every single touring model in the Harley store. I did this and the only bike that felt good for me was a road glide. (6ft, 260#).

Are you gonna charge extra for the bell/horn combo?
Heck many of the accessories on a 2007 Ultra cost more than $1500... try adding that HK radio "aftermarket" with the XM option.

There is nothing better than an Ultra glide with heated grips and a heated seat for cross country riding.

As was mentioned before, sit and ride them all. Narrow it down to a couple and then rent each one so you get a good idea of comfort and handling etc. Some dealers will even credit your rental fee toward the purchase price of new one. All the HS touring bikes are great, but nothing beats the Road Glide in my opinion.
