Default engine guards

I have a 1995 ultra classic electra glide, my question is would an engine guard from a 2008 electra glide fit on my bike, I have an opportunity to pick up a new engine guard from a friend for cheap money if it fits. Would anyone know this info off hand or could I call a Harley dealer and ask them?

Thanks

if he's a friend i don't think he would mind if you test fit it on your bike. [i think the year range is 1997 through 2008 for touring models.]
