Yup,
That was Stone House, who would think a old farm house in a field would be a neat place to hang out but it sure is. There was a guy from Texas playing some decent music when we was there, the wife even bought his CD.
When we go to Hulett, we have been taking the long way which is 212 out of Belle Fourche up to Alzada, MT then hang a left between the gas station & bar and go to Hulett.
The Black Hills are one of those favorite places the wife and I never grow tired of visiting; Rally or no Rally.

It's a good loop.

Sturgis is on my bucket list. It’ll most likely be a once in a lifetime ride because of finances.
I’m retiring January 2012. My buddies and I are planning a ride to Sturgis and taking about 2 to 3 weeks of just riding. Won’t be going during the rally. I do Daytona two times a year. That’s enough rally for me.

Thanks for all of the comments! To answer some of the questions, I left from about 35 miles northwest of Philadelphia, PA. I took mostly interstates (80/90) on the way our through Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and then into South Dakota. Coming home, I went south to route 20 in Nebraska and Iowa, then into Illinois. I took 80 from Illinois back home to PA.
The whole trip was a highlight, but some things that stick out are – In the Black Hills – Iron Mountain Road, The Custer State Park wildlife loop, and needles highway. Mount Rushmore was pretty neat as well. The ride to Devils Tower was great, as was Devil’s tower itself.
I stayed in Black Hawk at the Ramada Rapid City West. Nice place and it was centrally located. A downside was that it was not really “at” anyplace… an exit off of I90 with a gas station and a pizza hut.
