Default Adding HD Smart Security

My 2010 EG Classic didn't come with security and I would like to add it. Went to Surdyke and noticed they have 2 part numbers listed that will fit....68200-07 and 68200-07A. I realize the A usually denotes a later version of the part with some type of added function or upgrade or problem correction, but after reading the description for both I can't see a difference in the functionality, other than the "A" part seems to fit more bikes.

Does anyone know what's different about the 07A part #? I can save myself a few bucks by ordering the 07 part, but if I need or it would be better to get the 07A part number then so be it. I want to do this right! :-)

can't help you on that part, but if you do add security, go with the $6 radio shack siren many of us use.

tutorial in the tips and tricks thread
