Default In The HOT Seat?

I'm looking to buy a Harley hammock seat for my 2010 Road King.

I need some input on whether to spend the extra funds for a heated seat or not. Those of you that have a heated seat, do you use it that often and does it really make a difference?

I like to ride my bike about 9 to 10 months out of the year so I was thinking the heated seat would be good in late fall and early spring.

Thanks for the input and experience!

The engine heat is enough for me. I don't like the heated car seats either. If you're not going out in sub 30dg weather then you might not use it much.

I had the opportunity to try one of these seats out w/ out heat and I'm not going to buy one.

I didn't like that the width of the seat caught more heat from the engine going down the road on a hot summer day.

I also wasn't too fond of how it raised me up.

I earned $800.00 today by passing on this mod!
