does anyone use the harbor freight wheel chock when trailering their ultra. Can't afford the Condor,and can't ride the distance.

I wouldn't buy anything from Harbor Freight

 

I bought one for my trailer. Returned and bought condor. 20,000 bike equals soundness of mind. I would use in garage in a heartbeat but not on a trailer where flexing occurs.

 

There have been many posts of people using and liking the Harbor Freight chock.

 

I used one several times without any issues. What I didn't like was getting the bike back out of it. I recently replaced it with a Wheeldock. But, as far it supporting and holding the bike, no problem.

 

I use the Harbor freight chock on my Dyna, works great, no issues other the the Low Rider tire is to narrow and that's what the tie downs are for! Used it on my friends Fat Boy and works even better!! For as little as it gets used, it's the most economical choice. It works just fine!

 

I have the HF chock.....use it on the trailer (with at least 4 straps), and mount it to 3/4" plywood for use in the shop. I have no complaints.

 

lI bought the HF one on sale for 19.95, holds the Roadie just fine, no complaints. The trailer place had one for $169.00, looked identicle.

 

I use the more expensive HF chock on my lift works fine.
I have the mid priced ones on my trailer. This week I hauled my Ultra on it for the first time. Worked fine.

 

My reason for liking the Condor over the HF is my streetglide has a 21" front tire as well as wifes sportster. Loading up by myself the condor is more stable. Probably be ok with a wider tire. Structural differences are the front stop on Condor is more v shaped causing a tighter fit. The base is strips of welded metal compared to solid channel on Condor. I actually bought the e track and adapters for my chocks so I could use on my lift table and trailer as well. My trailer is enclosed, so I figured I needed that extra security since I couldn't see while driving.
