Glad you had a great ride down there. Took my dad there a few years ago and he had a ball dragging floor boards. I found US29 back in the late 70's quite by accident. Was headed to Knoxville from East NC. Had a great time as few bikes were there then. I am headed down in a couple weeks for a weekday run as a memorial ride as my dad passed away this spring. He really wanted to do that ride again, so my brother and I are doing it for him. Catch you on the curves!

Long Story Short... Staying in Knoxville...Rode the Dragon ,early, durring the week.(Best time!!!) and buddies bike (Yamahaha)broke down in Robinsville,needed a new computer...Stopped at Wheelers performance at top of Dragon.Ken owner(Great Guy!!!) had to order one anyway only smart way back to knoxville was back down Dragon with buddy on back at night :-( then had to take him back 2 days lator via Dragon to get bike...
All in all...Efin great ride the Dragon...along with all the other great rides in that part of the country... :-)

Glad I could help. I used the americaridesmaps waterfall maps last year and had a great time.

Headed to Tn. Labor Day weekend, might just have to cut through the mountains again instead of taking I40.

How "accurate" was the map for the waterfalls btw? If they were dead on, so to speak, I will make that purchase in a heart beat!
