Lookin good tho, especially those rear lights.
Amazingly I didn't go down. Bike bucked around like a rodeo bull and I sure thought I was gonna bite it but luckily didn't. Only thing I suffered was a sore right leg and knee for a few days. I guess after I hit her she came around and smashed my leg against the tank and air cleaner cover.

Glad you are ok. Your bike looks great. I really like the filler panel and tail lights.

Buddy asked me if I had painted "Deerslayer" anywhere on the bike. It really had never occurred to me to do so. After he said that it got me to thinking that I should put it on there somewhere.

BTW....... Mine was about $1600 shy of being totaled so I kept it to rebuild and bought a new one.

Yep you should. I know it may sound corny but I consider us survivors to be part of a small unique brotherhood.....my brother-in-law and a couple of buds have the same tat....for the same reason.

Yeah, I have a small place near the bottom of the rear fender that I am going to have to have the painter fix this winter. Maybe when I get that done I will have him letter something back there since he will have to re-clear over that repair anyway.

Nice job and love the paint and choice of color.

Did Jason in West Frankfort do the paint?

Yes he did. He does excellent work and is very reasonable.
He is about 120 miles south of me
