Thanks for the help guys. It helps to know that there are some pipes that are cat-specific.

I guess the Thunder-Street, FatShotz, or the SuperTrapp SE Series would be the best application for my bike. And it's good to know they won't be offensively loud.

Heavy- I just ordered the Supertrapp SE 2011 version slip ons through my dealer and should be here mid week. I'll throw them on and let you know how I think they sound compared to the stockers. My guess is a little deeper and louder but that's about it which is fine with me. Headpipe is staying on for now so will look into a new A/C, maybe Stage One D/L and perhaps the SE Tuner. Pipes ended up being 339 after my military discount

Now I gotta decide on endcaps.......which aren't cheap!

Thanks. I curious to hear what you think. People here have been pretty convincing for the SE Fatshotz. Stock at idle and cruising, with a good bark under throttle. Exactly what I'm looking for.

Heavy D- I have the FatShotz and they have a bit more sound than the stock mufflers on my '11 Ultra Classic. The tone is a bit deeper than the stock mufflers as well, and I can hear them in the background when on the freeway. I think they are an excellent compromise for improved sound quality and modest performance increase. Highly recommended for an application like yours where you just want a bit more sound.

Nice looking pipes Pastor. I think the tone is similar between the Fatshotz and the other 2 pipes but with the Fatshotz you can alter the sound with discs if you desire. I would have no issue with the Fats but for now want to try the Supertrapps
