That being said, it's maybe a 5 minute job to pull the tank. Not the end of the world if you have to do it.

UPDATE:

OK yes I was able to do it without tampering with anything else. Just used a small "L" shaped allen wrench. It was a bit tedious but not a big deal. It took one hour total to remove the stock air cleaner and install the SE Ventilator. It looks fantastic, I really like the look of it.

Now I'm off to fire up the laptop and install the Fuelmoto MAP... Back in a bit!

OK that's it... Easy and she runs great! I haven't taken her for a ride yet, just ran the motor in the garage for a few minutes, but revs smoothly, no popping, etc. I'll take it for a spin tomorrow.

Very pleased with the new look of this Ventilator air cleaner. Definitely more sleek looking that the football for sure.

Does anyone have any idea what the CFM's are for various air cleaners and air filters? IE: K&N vs H-D paper element for example, different brands/makes of air cleaners for Harleys? The traditional round SE air cleaner vs this SE Ventilator?

Thanks to all for your input...

I put the K&N on when I installed the Ventilator.

I'd have to look in my files. I'm leaving town this weekend right after work, but can check it Sunday evening when I return.

Yeah I'm looking for that part number too. Now I've heard some here say the K&N sometimes doesnt quite fit right (too big), so curious if it fits your air cleaner properly.
