We both have 07's. Using the E3 MU90B16 rear? Any fitment issues? I still have a Dunlop 402 on the front...is it ok to mix?
Thanks....I just want to be sure before I buy the tire.

I have the E3's and love them. Great traction and longevity.

elite 3 mu90 rear and mt90 front ,fit with no problems, some say never mix tires, thaty being said i will mix doesnt bother me.i think the mixing thing is somwhat dated as early radials were much different than bias ply,i would still be hesitant to mix bias and radial but e3 and 402 are both bias ply so no problem, for me.e3 also comes in a 160 size thats a bit wider some are using it but it is recomended for a 3.5 inch wheel our stock wheels are 3 inch so i wouldnt go there.

No problem whatsoever...Mix on brother... i have a EIII on the fron and have gone through, a Night dragon, EIII, K591 elite II, Michelin Commander on the rear since and there is no side effects....Unless you are racing or using it on a trailer you can mix radials and bias on a bike...the the old Bias ply tires were built differently that what is being made today with cross bias ply type manufacturing... almost the same as radials...

Default Ultra touring tires

Just received a new set of Elite 3's today. Getting them mounted next week and heading for New England states next weekend. Will let you all know what I feel about the tires and the Road Zeppelin seat after that trip. Thanks for the advice.

I went with the stock 402's this time because I couldn't find Commanders available and all the Elite-3 that fit the 2006 EGC were Bias. I thought that radials were preferred so I this time I stuck the OEM.

Am I getting it right that those with the MT90 and MU85 are running the E3 Bias?

That would be correct...for the rear you can use EIII Bias ply MU90B16...Front n rear brand n style don't have to match
