@Luc...one other thing to consider since you're going to be in there already is to inspect the fairing brackets. Yours are probably fine, I think by the time the 2010's came out they were using the new, redesigned (heavier duty) brackets. Mine on the other hand was one of the originals and it was snapped clean through. That might have even been that sound of something loose I have been hearing but couldn't locate for the life of me.

 

I replaced my head unit with a Sony. I am going to install Titan Hertz high energy 6.5" speakers. Does anyone sell a speaker bracket like the one you made. I am a little concerned being that the new speakers are quite heavy.
