Would installing just the EZ pull spring alone do any good? I bought the kit here from another member and was wondering if the spring change alone would work.

 

I did it for a friend. He had a 2003 ultra. First did the clutch cable thingy if that's a word. LOL Found when I did the spring it made the difference however I think someone had already changed the tranny end.

 

I think the revised ramp that is part of the kit has something to do with it also.

 

There is really only one way to do it right. Do the whole thing. Also note that the thickness of the new clutch spring is thinner then the original.
