Glad your ok. His insurance should pay the whole bill. Hope it doesn't ruin your friendship.

You can fix the bikes / you Can't fix Stupid.......

with that said, as far as the friendship and riding partner.... all depends on how this person rode Before the accident.. We have all had people ride in our group that is an accicent looking for a place - others ride very well - and yes "**** happens" but what is this persons history. If he was one of those always pushing it and has a history of not paying attention - riding is over, if its just an accident - then ALL $$$$$$ is on him... I would expect him to cover any and all of my costs... I would sure do the same.. I also ride alone 99% of the time... Wife and I like to travel on our own time...

I would sure NOT ride in front of him again...

So the real important question is where are you getting it fixed? It'll take some time to get the parts and get it looking shiny again.

Ask Progressive if you can have a rental while waiting for your ride to be fixed. (Before you're back starts hurting really bad.)

Man that looks bad, probably a total loss on your bike. Glad you're alive after a hit like that. Personally, no way I would ride with him again but I wouldn't be so pissed that the friendship would end.

Looks like you buddy is gonna be buying two new bikes. Find a new riding pal or always make him lead. Screw that! Could have been a lot worse. I wouldn't take another chance. Sorry.

Glad you are both alive - that's the most important thing. Good luck with the insurance and getting all your extras replaced/compensated.
