Default Mounting 2 point for sissy bar

Have sissy bar, mount brackets, and a bag of hardware for a detachable sissy bar (2007 flht). Does someone have a walk through to install this? I am assuming the L type brackets on rear sides of fenders, and the round stud bolt thing attaches behind each shock absorber at top....

HD has the instruction sheet on their parts page. just look up your sissy bar # and the instruction sheet is at the bottom of the page in PDF format.

I just installed the detach kit on my 07. Have fun with the instructions. What a joke.
The diagrams are pretty good but you may have to put the spacers in differently.
