Unhappy Lost mic output on both headsets- any ideas?

09' Ultra Classic. I have lost both headset mic's. They were working fine.. now nothing. Radio/CD/xm reception is fine. Manuel is no help. I counting on you guys to give me some ideas. I do appreciate all the help provided to me over the years and I know this will be the same.

Did you lose it on both Intercom and CB? If you did it is probably in the mic wiring between the front plug and the radio. Or it could be in the mic amplifier in the Intercom. Make sure the intercom is still on and the vox is set high enough to trigger and the audio volume is turned up in the intercom mode. There are 3 or 4 separate volume settings. Radio, CB, and Intercom. If CB Push to talk will cause the CB to transmit voice then the problem is probably in the intercom. I have had mine make changes all by its self. Good luck.

Thanks guys. I should have mentioned that the speaker rocker is in the correct position, forward. Both front and rear mic's. VOX position doesn't seem to change anything. I haven't tried C/B yet (no one to talk to right now) but that is my next step, I guess. Then, off to an audio repair, since I don't know nothin' bout 'lectronics and such! Dang, I was hoping for an easy solution.
