Question Need Advice on selling price !

I have a 2007 Electra Glide Standard, Fire red pearl, 14,000 miles, excellent condition , oil changed every 3,000miles, side case protectors... I also have a removable tour pack with rack and removable passenger back rest... Is it worth selling with those two items or sell seperately... Thanks for any help...want a realistic price

Don't sell them until after the bike sells. They won't make a huge difference in the price of the bike but you may want to offer one or the other to a potential buyer to close the deal.

Traded mine exactly same mileage as yours for the kkb trade in price. I didn't want to be hassle on craiglist or ebay. I could have sold it more than the trade in value but I just wanted to get the flhtk 2011 right away. its a lot different handling than my 2007 ultra with glide pro.

..I would sell with those items as part of the package...it will set your bike apart from other
"Standards", and bring a lot more prospective buyers. I would ask maybe $500 more than what a plain Standard would go for without a Tour Pack. It costs close to $2000 to do a complete Tour-Pack and make it detachable..I would ask $14,500 for the bike and take no less than $13,000...

I noticed today while at the local HD dealer that they had a Black Book sitting out. Did a little research and found this online link. Take a look:

I agree with the $13K to $14.5K range.

There is one thing that every seller of anything should know. The finale selling price on any item has more to do with the original asking price than any other factor. That is why as a seller you should always start high. I do not mean unrealistic but the reasonable high end of the price range.

Yep, $13-14.5

$13.5 first came to mind before I read any of the comments in this thread. Good luck!

That is an awesome link. Still doesn't take into account mileage, add-ons, mint condition, service history, tire condition etc.. Best way to see what price to ask is to check Craigslist and Dealer websites. They usually have their inventory online.
