Same here. I always thought it was not needed but now that I have been riding with it on my Glide I would never buy another bike without ABS. It makes a BIG difference in stopping distance and control, its no wonder why all of the Law Enforcement Agencies require it on patrol bikes

This (my '11 EGC) is my first bike with ABS and I hope to never own another bike without it.

When I took the Ride Like a Pro class, one of the exercises was called threshold braking, and brake and evade. Up to that point had never felt the ABS do its thing before. Their were a few in the class that had bikes without ABS and their was alot of tire smoke and fishtales on the bikes without ABS. It really suprised me how well it workes.

Add me to the list of firm believers in ABS. I will not own another bike without it.

After going down locking my tires when a pedestrian ran in front of me I was a little nervous with these situations. traded in the bike for a new one with ABS, and the nervousness went away after doing some threshold braking. I will never own another bike without ABS.

Same here, first week I had my bike I came up to two stop lights that changed quicker than expected and had to brake hard. No slide, bike stayed straight even thru the center of road where all the oil and a/c water drips are found.

I will also be one that won't buy another bike without ABS. I just can't understand why someone would not want it.

ABS has "saved my bacon" on more than one occasion. Last time was a cager with NO brake lights... stopped at a RxR crossing for no apparent reason. Yep, THANK YOU ABS!!!
