Default Bat Wing Mini-Ape Handlebar - New for '12

I am trying to figure out why this bar would spec to 2009 and up. I can't think of a difference in handlebars from 2008 to 2009+.

To new for any reviews but is anyone considering these?

Bat Wing Mini-Ape Handlebar

Bat Wing Mini-Ape Handlebar - Chrome

Throw your fists in the air with these 12" ape hangers. Shaped to rest your hands just above the top of the classic Bat Wing fairing, these bars feature a tall stance and minimal amount of pull back that help to achieve a cool yet comfortable riding profile. Finished in brilliant chrome or satin black, these 1" handlebars accept internal wiring for a clean look.

my guess would be that the end of the bar is notched for the TBW sensor..?

As are the 2008, so that's not the issue.

Ya, but '08s have TBW too. I wonder if it could be an error.

I have called about 6 dealers so far and Im getting nothing but crickets Looks as though it may be a typo. Hopefully the price is too, because a 1" bar for $180 is flipping outrageous!!
