Dropped my baby.....STUPID
#21
Good story, it could have ended up a lot worse. Sounds like the Troopers had a good sense of humor about them, if it had happened here in Ca they would have dropped the bike and either tasered or shot you for the gun, there are so few CCW permits here that when they see one they spook. Get a holster for that 380

Darn glad you're OK and through it all, everything is OK. I know that "Stupid" feeling... know it all too well! 1) Don't let your boot sit in a pool of brake cleaner - Next time you put your boot down, it'll be slicker than ice (Don't ask me how I know!) 2) Watch out for oil-dry lurking around in front of gas pumps (Don't ask me how I know!) 3) It's not a good idea to apply your front brake while turning in a gravel parking lot (Don't ask me how I know!) 4) Tar "snakes" can be real slick on a 95+ degree day (Don't ask me how I know!).

At least ya can say you dropped your ride in front of the fuzz and your 'piece' fell out and the law didnt have the grapes to dime ya. That would sound like a good story...better than saying you rode to the store to get your wife some tampons and forgot to put the jiffy down and your bike fell.

I stopped and put my left foot down......thought I was doing a good job holding it up.....when I lifted my left foot, the world came to an end.
