I don't try to polish my '99 spokes either. They just get wheel cleaner and a quick sponge.

I've never used S100. I use the HD Wheel Cleaner on mine.

The S100 worked well....spray it on..let it sit....rinse it off...but still plenty of cleaning to do...especially since I rode in the rain tonight. I'm going to give them another shot of the S100 tomorrow and do some scrubbing along with it.

I agree that the spokes look best on the RKC...at least as far as what I've seen so far. It just goes with the bike.

Caution on the Simple Green. I used SG on my profile laced wheels for the past five years. A few weeks ago I pulled the wheels and took them to an inde for new tires. The inside of the rims were badly corroded with severe pitting. Looked like moisture was getting in at the spokes and getting trapped between the tube and rim. I have no way to know if SG was directly related, just saying.

+111 on the Jack and coke!

Jack it up, pull the bags, crack a beer, toss some ribs on the BBQ, the start spinning those rims and counting...1, (wipe, polish), 2 (wipe, polish), 3 (wipe, polish, beer)....10 (wipe, polish, beer, check ribs)... rinse/repeat... 52! On to the front tire!

Halfway through the front, you should have a good buzz and the ribs should be done - take a break, (by then your buddies will smell the BBQ and already be bringing more beer over) then finish up. Makes for a great saturday
