'11 LTD...front wheel wont "free spin", should it?
2011 Ultra LTD with 1500 miles. When the bike is on the stand (with both wheels off the ground), if I try and spin the front wheel, it wont free spin.
Lets say I tried to spin the front wheel as hard as I could, it wont spin on its own.....almost like someone is applying the front brake slightly?
Normal?

Yes it should. Both of my bike's front wheels will spin freely.

I can hear my brake dragging a little, I doubt mine will spin freely either.

If you push the pads in they will spin. Normally the pads drag a bit.

Without full floating rotors, I bet most brakes drag some.

I had floating rotors on my '05 RK, and it spun freely. My '11 SG is hard to spin. Makes me want to put floating rotors on the '11 as well.

Disc brakes keep pressure on the rotors at all times, its minimal but it will keep the wheel from rotating freely. It shouldnt be "hard" to turn but it wont speel like it would if you took both calipers off.

brakes drag, like everyone else said.
if you get free floating rotors (true free floating rotors, not the harley floating rotors) then youll have a nice free spin for sure.
the harley floating rotors are only semi floating, but do help alot with warpage
