If you got a little rust on your plugs and it worries you, take them out, buff them up and spray a little WD-40 on them every once and awhile.

About every couple of years it seems the plugs start to rust, I put a gold plated set in and they still rusted.

I just replace them when they go rusty, not a thing wrong with the plugs but I can't stand seeing the rust.

Noticed the same thing on my 2009 Ultra. 30K+ miles so I just changed them. OEM plugs are $5.......easy fix. Yes I used anti-seize and started them by hand and torqued to spec. lol Now I just have to get out and use them............finally supposed to thaw out here in Mich this week.

Copper anti seize. It conducts better.

After you wash and dry, get on it and ride. The hot motor will evaporate the left over moisture. I am not a advocate of changing plugs just for the heck of it. My 2000 still has same plugs and they look and run great. Your mileage may vary.

Rust on the rear plug is not uncommon.
