Strange Noise
2011 Ultra with 4700 miles. When I'm slowwing down and the radio is off I hear a woo, woo, woo noise. As I slow down the space between woo woos lengthens. Applying front or rear brakes makes no differnce. When engine is idling no woo woo noise, makes me think about wheel bearings or rotors. Dealer checked it out and can't figure it out. They check bearings and rotors front and back, Belt and wheel aligment, plastic belt guard, tires etc. The dealer wants to keep bike till Monday so they can get with other service techs to see if they have had similar situation.
Has anyone heard of this siuation?

Would have thought maybe the rotors but you said the ruled those out as well as the bearings. Might want to have the tires checked and see if one has developed a cup in it. FYI, I don't know if the new rotors have the same issue but my buddy had a rotor warp and the tech told him that holding the brakes on after you have stopped can cause warping because that area doesn't cool as fast as the rest of the rotor. Keep us posted on what they find.

Are the tires cupped? I have heard that noise many a time when I still has tread left, but the tires were worn unevenly.
It can happen from riding hard in the twistys, and a variety of other reasons.
