I would love to have more power also but nos is just a little burst, when the bottle is empty whats left nothing and you tuning is down the drain. I would prefer turbo or supercharged that is there all the time, or even motor work but nos doesn't make much sense to me. To each is own.

I say go for it. Have fun. You will have a fast "slow bike" relative to all the other slow bikes.

I say go for it as well, just remember to dial back the timing when activated. A plug reader/magnifying glass is quite important.

Nitrous oxide is like methamphetamine for your bike, if you wanna risk it then go right ahead!

NOS update,

I recieved my system early in the week. It took about 4 hrs to install including installing high flow injectors. It wouldn't gave taken that long but since my tank was off I cleaned my motor real well and added some engine lighting.

System was a breeze to install. I installed the 30 hp jet.

I took it to my dealer for a dyno yesterday. We had to start with a whole new tune do to the new injectors. before a shot of NOS the #'s where 85hp and 97 fpt on the new tune. Thats not bad for being 7000' above sea level. when I did my build I was after torque more than pony's anyway. My old tune #'s were 89 hp and 100 fpt with stock injectors.

after the new tune was done . we started tuning with the NOS. We did ( i say we because I was in the booth helping ) 14 pulls with the NOS. We need to concentrate on WOT fuel and timing. the #'s with a shot in 4th gear pull starting at 3000 rpm running to 6000 rpm after it was dialed in are 105 hp and 125 fpt. The motor ran great very strong. No pre det ping.

I didn't get the full 30 hp out of the NOS I believe due to my cams which again are torque cams.

I'm happy with the way it runs. Gotta be careful pulling 3 grand and hitting a shot in second gear cuz the front end want to pull of the ground. I weigh 235 lbs and i have to lean forward and lay on my tank to keep it down.

I hope this info helps anybody that it is thinking about NOS.

..when I was a kid, my old man had a 1972 Pontiac Grand Safari Station Wagon with a 455 in it...he loved to floor it getting on highways, I guess cause it was the only time the old Lady wouldn't scream at him for doing it..I always had a fantasy of putting a Nitros kit in it without him knowing...so I could watch him sh*t his pants when he floored it to get on the highway...."Go NOS!!"..
