Default Whats the biggest rear tire I can put on my 2007 SG?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone had experimented with going to a larger rear tire on the stock rim or if there is a little wider rim that will fit my 07 SG, Put a 2010 rim and tire on the front and liked the differance. Thanks, TODD

only asking what is the differance between the 07 and the 10 front tire as far as size and width goes My bike is an 07 as well

Avon venom 150/80/16 is the fattest tire you can put. Yeah By the numbers is smaller than the dunlop elite 3 160/80/16 but the avon is a wider tire

Metzler 150/70/18 no more room on my 08 leaves about 3/16 between the belt and the tire.

Just (like 2 days ago) put one of these on my bike. Now the tires match (did an 18" avon front at the start of the season). Fit well and seems much improved. Stock rim but did need to leave the belt guard off.

Have one of those on mine. Just barely fits. HDWheels.com says you can fit a 18x4.25 wheel, with a 160/60-18 tire. http://www.hdwheels.com/Product.htm

My 160-60-18 metzler will be here monday and its going on a 08 SG. I have seen this done a few times and will need to trim the belt guard a little
