I'm on my third and it don't work either, calling iron cross monday. this is the kind of thing that will make me re-think my brand of bike when it comes down to buying a new one. I mean for 23 thousand dollars you would think a working radio would be included.

 

they are junk!!!! Iron Cross gave me $250 bucks for my broken unit. I put in a Sony marine unit with biketronics control unit. love it. I say go aftermarket........

 

Mine is going to the dealer once again, Tuesday, I will report on how good the extended warranty service is. I was told $100 over the phone for a re-manufactured installed.

mine is doing the same thing. going out, but display is still on. what really sucked it that it went out during our trip down to tenn last weekend. did 1700 miles with little or no radio. got home and stuck the old software update cd in and it seems to be working better. i know its just a band aid for now. we will see.

 

07 FLHTC- same issue. Stereo on but intermittant sound. Diagnostic check says SpkA. Switch blown or speaker blown???

 

Also, check for broken fairing bracket(s) and/or riser bolt(s) hitting bottom of radio.
