I know a bunch of you have these. Here's my question:

The instructions say to make sure the floorboards are mounted in the middle position. Has anyone installed these adj pegs with the floorboard in the uppermost position?

Would the pegs hit somewhere if I tried to mount with floorboards in top hole?

Yes I put mine in the top hole, they work fine. Passenger just needs to rember to slide feet back
when you come to a stop.

 

I put mine in the top hole. The sliding lock is kinda close to the exhaust on the left side but if your careful you won't burn your hand releasing it. My exhaust is stock. A friend has the V&H true duel exhaust on his, and I don't think they would work in the top hole with that exhaust.
