Been around long enough to remember the bikes needing alot of work....problem is, I don't remember it being so great.

My rigid sporty was nicknamed "The Bitch" by me......I learned to hate that bike....

Personally, I thought it sucked. Pushing your bike down the road in the middle of nowhere in august when it's frigin' HOT out isn't cool, nor great in my world.

Contrary to what you may read on here or hear from some old greybeard at the biker bar....ALOT of Harley owners also own as 2nd bike or more, and they aren't all Harleys. Alot of Goldwing owners.

sold my vintage CB550 Honda just last year.

I'd tell you the 103" is exactly 7 inches better than the 96".

Bigger is better.
There is no replacement for displacement.
Go big or go home.
Size does matter.
Torque is king on the street.

You get the idea....

Ultra89Rider - Wrong - The 2012 Dyna Switch Back does not have oil cooler. It is a $1,200 option combined with ABS. The ACR is standard.

Brings smiles to my face; My Dad's first "real" bike was a CB250 - Pearl green and white. My brother in law let me ride the v-star he was selling, because they bought a Stratoliner - what a beautiful machine! I put a freight train nacelle on my fatboy so it would look more like Strat :0 Peace - Kev

Love the Honda's from the early to mid 70's.

Air Cooled, single overhead cam 550 4 cylinder.

From what I member reading (didn't own back then), I'm not sure the early 80's were a lot better - AMF so wrecked the company, just like they ran S-2 Yachts into the ground. Feels good to turn a wrench again. Have not had to work on car in a couple of decades (Japanese). Lots to learn, but so far, have only broken a brake light switch - ahhh, that never happens to anybody

Glad you are there to tell me how wrong I am.
I ride Touring models and this is the Touring section, not the Dyna section, I figured we were talking about Touring models.
I don't ride the Dyna models. So you can be the expert for Dynas.
