Aren’t they trying to split Kalifornia up and create a 51st state?

BTW, I do like the sound of my TDs...
Nor Cal and So Cal are like 2 different countries. Other than San Francisco, Nor Cal is a great place to live and ride. The only way I go to LA area, is driving through on my way to San Diego.

I hear you. It is a big place and I’m sure there are a lot of nice people there and places to visit. I would definitely like to tour the state one day, I just don’t like a lot of their regulations, but I guess ever state has their problems; hey why can’t we get the Lotery in Nevada anyway…

Was down in CA on a tour with my 1993 Fatboy that has v&h radials that are loud and was never bothered. Going thru Frisco setting off car alarms was fun tho.

There's alot of them out here. I ran BUB 7s on my 07 FLTH STD. Just be cool & don't blip the throttle all the time. There's alot of Five O's who ride HDs.

i dont live there but dont see how it can be a problem. you are a resident of another state. i dont thik there is a law that makes you update a motorcycle or automobile to their states epa or noise standards just to visit their state. if there was that would kinda hirt the tourism wouldnt it? if you dont ride through town at 6,000 rpm i doubt there will be a problem.

Uh...Wrong!

Try telling that to a LEO when going from a no helmet state to a mandatory helmet state. It is the responsibility of the rider (driver) to abide by ALL of the MV laws of the state. Unless you're driving a truck up from Mexico then no laws apply. ;-) My favorite Mexican vehilcle code enforcement law is that no vehicle is allowed to have BOTH headlights on at the same time. And amazingly, they NEVER find anyone down there in violation.

Now with regards to the loud pipes. I have been running V & H Bigshots on my Dyna for 8 years and have never had a problem. I now have an Ultra with Rineharts and they actually are easier to keep quiet when the need arises. Having said that, there are still certain things you don't want to do. Don't be a throttle jockey and don't ride with Azzhats who are! That is the first rule.

Enjoy riding in California as there are some spectacular roads and rides.
