I want to move my license plate on my 05 ultra classic. Removed my tour pack and now the plate sticks out like a "sore thumb". Any suggestions from guys who have done this? I would prefer under the tail light but really would be satisfied with anywhere other than where it is now. Thanks.

@mikecourthd, I do not have a picture now. I am at my office. However, the plate is located in the exact location as on your bike in your picture. I was just looking for a part number, suggestions regarding brand, ease of installation, etc.

 

On my 06 Standard I had a laydown plate bracket from Kury.It was still in the same location on the grab bar,but it was as low as it could go ,without touching the top of the tail light.Looked much better IMHO than the upright HD bracket.

 

There is a plate holder that goes under the tail light bar. I think I have picture. I converted my ex 2007 ultra classic to street glide. The set up I got from 18BKLR (Mark), A very very nice guy to deal with. If he is selling anything that you need buy it from him. The best person to work with he did everything to satisfy me. Anyway here is the pictures. The plate holder attach to under the tail light bar.

Got ya. I have the lay back with some chrome washers that move it out when I have the tour pac on.
