Anyone using the softbrake relocator...it says no drilling required. How exactly does it mount under the turn signal bar.

For the softbrake relocator, the website says no drilling required. How exactly does it mount under the turn signal bar?

I have the Soft brake style on my RK. I also bought a lay down tail light with no license plate light clear window. Then I bought a billet license plate frame with a built in light. All in all about $100 but I like the looks 100x more!

It mounts in between the fender and the light bar using the light bar screws.

I have a 2010 FLHP. I bought the softbrake re-locator and hooked that up. It pinches underneath the light bar, the bolts go right through it. I also picked up an lcd light frame, from softbrake, (he has a few left but he is discontinung them) to light up the plate. The softbrake goes on really securely, I was able to reach up under the fender with a wrench and unbolt the bar with the bike just sitting on the kick stand, I got a little dirty, but it was pretty easy and it attaches very securely.
a
The only problem is, the police light bar is big enough that it doesn't allow for the lcd frame to sit all the way up on the softbrake, the bottom of the bar is almost flush with the top of the softbrake. I am now trying to figure out whether to drill a couple new holes in the softbrake to allow the bottom of the lcd frame to hang below the softbrake, or if I should just scrap it all and go differently.

Nothing in life ever seems easy.
