Hawg Wired vs. Biketronics Sony install kit?

I would recommend which ever one you go with to get the universal kit. For a $20 to $30 more you will have more choices if the Sony doesn't work out. I have the biktronics kit, but the Hawg Wire amp and speaker set up. I have had great customer service from both. Kit was very easy to install. I had an issue with my amp and Justin at Hawg Wired spent some time on the phone with me going over the different set ups. In the end he had to send a new amp and speakers to me without question or charge. You really cant go wrong with either one. Both back up their products and are willing to help.

I just installed a Biketronics kit in my bike and for once, I had no issues with an install of aftermarket parts. Like the one poster stated, I am an idiot also and even I had no trouble installing it.
I did notice one thing, after you follow the radio install instructions, it says connect battery and turn on the ignition to see how the radio sounds. I did that and had no sound at all. Then it occurred to me I needed to get the speaker install directions and put them in to. It sure did sound better after that.

i used a biketronics mount kit to put a kenwood stereo in..the kit was easy to install, all it is is a plastic face plate, two small blocks of composite wood for spacers and few screws.i had to leave the trim ring off the stereo.i like the faceplate cover they offer.i have no experience with the hog wired kit but i thought it looked better, more$$
