I gradiated form tha fith garde, but i'm still smart enough to know when someone is sharing a good time. I would kill to be able to do that.
Looking forward to the pics and the stories. Shame someone has to turn everything into a pissing contest. Really sounds like a great time!

I rode 67 miles today! Does anyone know how many miles a day that is?

the other thing ******* doesn't take into account is that on more nights that I can remember, we got back to the motel early in the morning, a few times around 3 am because we made some very cool new friendships. but we still got up and put our mileage in no matter how bad or tired we were. of course, what would he know about making friends.

Congrats on the 6603! "Most" of us are quite envious as we try to carve out a couple of days off in a row for a ride.

I can't quite figure out why, but this thread makes me laugh my *** off.

Where is the Shovel now?

Dang it again. I want to be a real biker. I want to be a real biker. I want to be a real biker.
no, you're doing it wrong. you have to put on your assless chaps, fingerless gloves, then click your heels together 3 times while saying 'i want to be a real biker'......

Man! I need a ride like this to renew my faith in humanity...in my job I only deal with the scum of this country so I don't usually encounter the millions of good people still remaining. 24 days on my scoot would be like a rebirth. Maybe someday....congrats!

the shovel is still in illinois. the manager has a son who lives not too far from us in new york, and he comes out here fly fishing with his son later in the year, so he offered to trailor the bike when he comes. this is the kind of people that are out there, always willing to help. everyone we met was very cool, very gratious, and very helpful.
