Default anyone running carlini apes?

Hey everyone,

The last couple of bikes I have had ran Wild1 bars on them and am thinking about trying something different. I'm thinking about putting a set of 1.5" 14" Carlini flying apes on the RG. I was running 14" wild 1 bagger bars on my Ultra and was happy with the height of them. I have never had 1.5" bars but again just thinking about trying something a little different. I am thinking about ordering them next week then have them powdercoated black and wait until early fall to swap them out. Just curious if anyone has any feedback on them?

Anyone know the ID of the Carlini Apes? I emailed them and called them a couple times, they were supposed to measure it but never did and have decided not to. I would like to know if they are large enough for the TBW and heat demons without having to drill them out.

Thanks guys. I am still debating what to do but think I'm going to try a set of 10" wild1's first. I don't know if I will be happy with them or not. If not then the Carlini's are next. Thanks again!

I have 14" flyin apes and they are a little over 15". Love them, nice and comfy and different than the standard ape. More pics in the link in my sig.....
