Default Police Seat on an 03 SERK?

Been thinking about putting a police seat on my 03 Screamin Eagle Road King.

I want to go solo, not wanting a Brawler or Mustand or LaPera look . . .

I just love the old timey look of the solo Police seats (with the springs and all)--wanting to make it look like a seat from the 40's or 50's . . .

But, I have no idea what I what exact seat and exacts parts list I would need to make that conversion.

I think the contrast on the anniversary bike would look and feel really good. (Wife doesn't ride with me so no two-ups, and I never use the back rest that is on the stock seat.

Anybody done this?

There is to be a secret parts list out there somewhere.

I did that exact mod on my 2003 Road King. Great seat. I sold that bike and just did the same thing to my 2011 Ultra Limited. You may sit a little higher. A lot of info available www.retiredpolicebikes.com.

I did that on my 05 EGC and now on my 2010. Nothing like rideing on air. It by far the best rideing and most comfy seat out there. It does set you up and back a couple of inches. But hey, I'm 6-9, so the extra inch are welcome. I found mine on ebay for 50 bux. Keep looking, there are plenty of deals out there. You'll need the seat of course, air bladder, the mounting braket for the seat, the plastic pan that goes under the seat, the nose bracket that the seat attaches too, the air tank and gauge, and the air hose to connect the tank to the bladder.

I made my solo brackets to move my tour pak up for a back rest. Harley make a solo bracket and mounting hardware you can buy. I'm just a tight wad, so I made mine.
