The Rattler is a real nice ride also, 209 I think is the road #, The Hellbender #28 is also a laid-back nice cruise If you have a GPS just start exploring, about any country road you go down is going be awesome. When you do the Dragon if you can do it on a Tuesday much less traffic and a much more enjoyable ride not to mention safer!

Edit: /\ Picture taken at the Dragon!

The Dragon was fun, get there early on a weekday, Monday was still crowded a few weeks ago.
DiamondBack was fun and not another sole on that road, just outside little Switzerland.
Ride at least part of the Blue Ridge Parkway, Cherokee to Ashville was fun.

We neglected to do the Moonshiner, damn, guess I have to go back

Anywhere in the Nantahala and Chattahoochee National Forests. Personally I think the farther away from all the other bikes the better.

Why don't you wait until it warms up some?

I like to ride the Dragon slow but there always seems to be someone in a hurry or a CR trying to run over me.

Appalacian Hwy 209 out of Hot Springs is a great ride with minimal traffic.

We rode the devil's triangle about 2 weeks ago.. The roads were in pretty bad condition (IMO). It looked like someone has spilled diesel fuel and was using sand to soak it up (this was about an 1/8th mile stretch). Luckily for us, there was no traffic in the oncoming lane so we were able to by pass the sand trap. There's also some very bad asphalt "patch" jobs and a set of very rough RR tracks laden with more rocks. Oh yeah, I forgot about a few switchback curves with no guardrails at all... If you ride it, you've got to really be paying attention.

A bunch of us were just up there last week. Try to do Wayah Rd. from Topton to Franklin, then do the stretch of 64 from Franklin to Highlands. Wayah Rd. is awesome, about 28 miles and I doubt if you'll see more than a couple other vehicles on the whole road.
Have fun!
