Default Street Glide

Hi guys, started looking into trading my 2010 Wide Glide yday. Talked to the dealer and was happy with what he'd give for my bike. He was really pushing a 2011 SG with the power pak. said he could really deal on it. Question is should I jump on that if the price is right or should I go for a 2012? SG is only one I'm interested in. thanks.

I see the bug has bitten and you will be getting a SG...lol You will get a better deal on 2011. With the power pack it is pretty much the same bike as the 2012. Go with the best price between the 2. He will deal more on 11's to make room for the 12's

According to the folks at my local HD dealer, the only changes to the SG in '12 are 1.) the color selection, 2.) elimination of the 96ci motor, and 3.) a small price increase. Since the '11 you're looking at has the Power Pak, I can't think of any reason to pay more for a '12 SG unless you strongly prefer one of the new colors. This is assuming you really can get a good deal on the '11.

Good luck either way. You won't be disappointed with the bike for sure.

I just traded my '10 WideGlide for an '11 StreetGlide 103 2 weeks ago....I loved the WG, but have not regretted it for one second! Do it....and yes, you'll get a better deal on an '11 right now.

Let us know what happens!

Another way to look at the deal is that the lower cost of the 2011 compared to the 2012 is the depreciation of the value of the 2011 when the 2012 is available. No real difference in the model years. Either way you will be getting one helluva bike! I love my 2010!

You wont go wrong with an 11 SG with the powerpack. I friggin love mine, make sure it has cruise on it as well, you'll really appreciate it on the longer rides.
