Use to write them on the inside of my faceshield. That cross eyed stuff gave me some winner headaches.

I'm too careful with my windshield I guess. Used a grease pencil on the WS one time and it left marks, so now I just use my poor man palm pilot (ink pen in the palm of my hand) lol.

Reminds me of the day I was out for a ride and there was a poker run in the area. 6 bikes followed me for 10 miles or so. I thought it was strange especially when I got on the back roads.
I pulled up to a stop sign and one of them pulled up along side me and told me that I was lost and must have made a wrong turn. He got a stupid look on his face when I told him that I wasn't lost and that I'd be home in less than 3 minutes.

I don't have that option there only two of us and I am suicide lane & front, we never get lost just sometimes not going the correct way! And when we do get misdirected I can count on hearing, "How many times have I told you to go buy a damn GPS! LOL
I did find a white & yellow grease pencils, just need to figure out which is easier to see on the smoked background?

I used a grease pencil on the windshield of my Escalade to trace the map from the HUD so i could see it when I turned the iginition off and pretended to fly.

J/K.

Grease pencil works fine on a good lexan shield...comes off great with WD-40.

I also used grease pensil on the canopy of a Cobra helicopter in RVN to write coordinates etc, but that was their canopy, the Army's, not my bike windshield. Wasn't much concerned about scratches on the canpoy, but am about the bike.

Had our chapter president leading on quite a few group rides. He would write down the highways in order on the inside of his windshield with a dry marker. After passing to the next highway, simply wipe off the road you just left. Worked pretty slick. Unless you'd rather stop and look at maps instead of riding....
