Anybody using this bulb under a smoked cover? Opinions

My BIL is using them, he's too cheap for LED. They work fine.

I used one for about one year before switching to the brighter LED. It worked fine

Never really thought it was bright enough. Didnt keep it very long.

Anything with KY in the part # cant be all bad

What LED are you using that's brighter? I have had absolutely terrible luck with LED's. I haven't found one brighter than a good incandescent yet? It isn't a matter of being too cheap here, as I've spent good coin on the damn LED's to no avail.

It's the HD plug & go LED brake/tail light. Seems much brighter, even in the daylight.

Kuryakyn has some nice LED inserts for bullet and pancake lights.

Thanks guys, I'll look into the Harely and Kury stuff. I didn't think Harley had them for the 2010 Street glides with bullet only rear lights? My Dealer has a few Beauties there that do not have a clue!
