Get a set of 1" floorboard extensions. I'll bet that will solve the problem for you.

You may aswell go ahead and get the highway pegs because you are going to want them if you ride it any distance at all!! Just sayin!!

What problem is the brake petal causing? Would floor board extenders help the problem? The are 2 forum sponsors that sell them - Soos & Harley Goodies.

Unbolt the brake pedal pad, buy a smaller one and bolt it on.

I traded mt 07 Soft Tail for an 09 Street Glide and kept the Willie G. Skull brake pedal pad and just cut the brake lever on the SG with a cutoff wheel so the smaller pad would fit and it worked slick!

I guess everyone's needs and wants are different but I like the big brake pedal to plant my size 13's onto. Haven't ever given it much thought about being to big. The brake pedal that is.
