I have a 2010 Street Glide that uses the factory rear turn signals as run brake and turns, from the factory. Nobody seems to know whether it is an 1156 or 1157. I would have thought 1157, but others have said otherwise. Can somebody who has pulled theirs tell me which it is. I am not at home to look. I think I ordered the wrong bulbs and want to cancel before shipping. I'm converting my lenses to smoked. Thanks

I would think it has to be 1157for the dual element. 1156 only has a single element I believe. Are they using led lights now though* that could be a different deal. Wish i was certain for you but I can't guarantee it.

doghair, are you sure? The rear 2010 signals are also the brake and run lights right from the factory.

I stand corrected. 1156 are standard on the models I've dealt with using the run/turn/brake mod where the voltage is changed via the under the seat module for the single filament, looks different for the SG with no taillight.

I tried replacing my front blown turn signal on my 2011 limited with an 1157...it would stay lit, but would not blink when I pushed the blinker switch....I installed a 2057 and it now works fine...I'm assuming it would be an 2056 for the rear. YMMV
