Powder and the Circulator Seat Pad from HD solved my problem a lot less expensively than a new seat. Might be a good solution for you if your seat is comfortable otherwise...

Default seat cushion

Does anyone know of a seat cushion that will move my wife closer to the tank? She rides an 07 Road King and the stock seat does not move her close enough. We have a solo seat that moves her closer, but going on a long ride and need a two-up seat to for bags. Thanks

Its been my experience that sitting on plastic will give me monkey butt every time, especially when its hot out. A seat with real leather makes a big difference. I can ride on my Corbin all day long without any discomfort.

get a pair of cycling shorts (bicycle) and wear under your jeans. Get the 6 or 8 ply.
