New Chrome Process

New Chrome Process
Watching 'My Classic Car' this morning, Dennis Gage was at Jay Leno's garage, and they were talking about a new chrome proccess. They didn't actually show the process, but they showed a few things they had done. According to them, it can be used on almost anything, metal, plastic, etc... It's a process where you paint the part, then according to them, you pour a solution over it, and it instantly hardens to a chrome finish. I found one pic (not a very good one), on the MCC website, of a part they had done. Searching a little further, I found the following video showing the process. In the following video, they spray the solution over the part, but according to Jay, it can be poured as well, with no runs, drips, or errors. It appears to be a pretty unique process. I'd be interested to see a finished piece in person.
Looks like it might be a 'do it at home chrome' job

Lynn, Chrome Solutions appears to be out of existence. The good news is that two companies appear to have a similar product, so try either:

or
