Default Slip ons, fuel management and air

I have a California stock (stage1) 08 Roadking Classic. From what I have seen and heard on other bikes I think I want to get Rinehart slip ons. Can someone with the same set up guide me as to what size (3.5" or 4") and what if any fuel management system and if I need to do anything to the air system. From reading in the forum, I do not understand alot of the abreviations and shop talk. Please dummy it down for me so I can understand what you are trying to tell me. I respect and appreciate any and all help. Thanks!

It sounds like one of us is confused. You said you have a stock (stage 1) RKC? I think that "stock" and "stage 1" are mutually exclusive. No?

Based upon what I know - and have read here - fuel management and air kit are not required when only installing slip-ons; however, when installing an aftermarket air kit or mufflers AND headers, then fuel management is needed.

Regarding the Rinehart's (good choice, by the way), I believe that the 4-inchers are what you want.
