[QUOTE=JollyRogers;8555971]I did leave my oil pump on. I replaced the o-ring and verified alignment of it when I put it back in.

Help me out here, how did you verify alignment? Gonna do mine soon and trying to get everything straight beforehand.

All I am saying is I verified the new o-rings stayed in place as the cam plate seated. Used a flash light and took a look see at it before starting to tighten and took another look as I tightened it.

That's it, I'm doing my own. I'll prob go through the top to not have to mess with purchasing/adjusting the pushrods. Does anybody have instructions on how to? or is there anything special I should do?

Dude. I did mine out on the side walk. You can borrow the tools from autozone. Just do it.

SE 255s are suppose to be a good low-mid range torque cam. I'm banking on it as the set I've got are going in the bike come Oct.

Roger; is your warranty still in effect then, or? I am just about out of warranty and was also thinking of changing cams for my stage 1 but also am contemplating extending the warranty, even with the cam install

SE 255's are an excellent cam for low end/mid range, and all around a great cam for a touring bike. I bought a barely used set in the classifieds, and have had them in for 4k miles and love them.
