It's true, MOCO released a warranty bulletin W-135 06-30-11 about excessive warranty claims on batteries. All dealers are expected to follow the charging, testing and verification guidelines as set forth in service bulletin M-1290. An audit found 42% of the batteries sent in were improperly charged and not defective.
