Replacing the rear brake light switch

Replacing the rear brake light switch
I have determined that the rear brake light switch is bad on my '09 Ultra Classic. The brake light works with the front brake lever ok. What I would like to know, is it always going to be necessary to bleed the brakes when the brake light switch is replaced?
I would hate to take it to the dealer just to have the switch replaced if I can do it.
Anyone have the part number for the switch?

Thanks! This is evidently one of those thing that doesn't let you cut any corners. It just seems that $85 for the labor plus the cost of the switch is bit expensive for such a simple part. The manual states that any Harley with ABS system a "Digital Technician II" (HD-48650) must be used.

I suppose I could figure out how to get the scoot in the upright position but I don't have access to a "Digital Technician II" (HD-48650) for the ABS system.

heat wrap
For all those who have had a rear brake switch failure I would suggest that you put some kind of heat wrap around the switch. From all the posts here about this failure it seems that the heat from the exhaust is the cause of this failure. And that some sort of thermal barrier would help.
Auto makers have used this type of product for years to help protect switches and other components.
Here is one product I found with a Google search.
